One Year Video

It has been one year! Unbelievable. At times it seems like it has flown by, other times it seems like it has been forever. Either way, we wouldn't have traded this year for anything. We are even more excited for year two! Here is a video marking Sam and Jaelyn's first year. Hope you enjoy!

Birthday Party

We celebrated Sam and Jaelyn's first birthdays yesterday. We had a wonderful party and it was clear that the sandbox that Grandpa Speer built was the hit. Of course, while Sam did enjoy the party, he also spent a decent amount of time under the table and reading a book by himself. Here are some pictures of the party.

Sam Walking - Updated

Here is the very first video of Sam walking. Officially, he took his first couple of steps in a Borders in Frederick, MD. But, he really got the hang of it for the first time in Shawn and Shelva's apartment in Harrisburg. He had a pretty proud Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, and mom and dad cheering him on. Of course, he had to ham it up a little bit. Enjoy the video. Also, here are some pictures of our trip to PA.

Sam the Reader

Sam has a new found love for reading. He absolutely loves books. Whenever we are sitting on the floor with Sam, he goes and finds a book and brings it to us to read to him. Sometimes he tries to read them himself, but nothing but Sam sounds come out. Here are some pics of Sam reading on of his favorite books.

We've Moved

Well, it has been over a week since we posted that we have moved, and we have suffered several delays in moving, but we are finally in. After a 2 hour move, a record for the South Atlanta crew, we are into our new place. The carpet is not yet in but we decided to move anyway. Hopefully the carpet will come this week and then we can finally move everything into the place.

We are looking forward to our new found ability to host anyone and everyone whenever you would like to visit. We hope to see you all soon!!!!
